Hello Urbane-ites! Are there certain brands you pledge your allegiance to? I've decided to pinpoint 10 of my favorites starting with the designs of Herve Leger! I absolutely ADORE Herve Leger. Perhaps you are not familiar with the name, but I am sure you've seen "The Bandage Dress" and the several recreations at different price points. This dress brought Herve Leger back to prominence after the line was redesigned by BCBG's Max Azria in 2007. This brand is extremely high fashion and perfect for risk takers. Many of the designs and patterns draw attention to the waistline which tends to accentuate both the dashboard and the junk-in-the-trunk. This tends to create a perfect hourglass/coke bottle shape which gives a lot of the sensuality and glamour of the 1940s without being trashy. (PS: If you don't have roller coaster curves, it still gives you some shape!) The Fall 2009 collection will be dropping soon! Here are a few "pre-orders"! (my fave is the modified Bandage dress with the "armor" detailing at the top!)
