Tomorrow

Tomorrow I said
I’ll do it tomorrow
I expect it to be there always
Like bone marrow

I didn’t do anything today
Because I was going to do it
Tomorrow

I didn’t tell her that I loved her
With yesterday being tomorrow
Today’s sun set with sorrow

I got paid and wanted to get laid
So I promise mom I’ll save
Tomorrow.

Now I have all the girls and glamour
But my friends are foes around hoes
So I’m at the bank trying to borrow.
Swore I was gonna save
Tomorrow.

My grandmother’s only wish is that I’d graduate
I am convinced that it’s in my blood to procrastinate
So I told her to have patience and wait
Until tomorrow

But now I’m lying awake, crying with hate,
Because I’m at her wake and I told her to wait
Until tomorrow.

I had a paper due but chose to kick it with the crew
Learning to stanky leg and to hit the booty dew
I’ll write it tomorrow

Today my computer crashed with homework amassed
There is no way to perfect my craft and my teacher had my ass
For lunch with her tea and crumpets and I’m crying like a trumpet
For an extension until tomorrow

I realized yesterday that tomorrow hasn’t arrived
And it has it’s own set of weeds that arise
Amongst our grassy knolls and rosy colored bowls
Never realizing that the milk went old because we
Were going to go to the grocery, tomorrow.

So tell her you love her with all your heart
And tell him that you’ve loved him from the start
Sit on your grandfather’s lap and let go a fart
And sing in the morning when your breath is tart

Dance in the rain and howl at the moon
Your day is better when it starts before noon
Fall in love then roll in its garden
Because her breasts will sag and you won’t harden

Tomorrow.
